Photovoltaic solar power is one of the most promising renewable energy sources in the world. Compared to non-renewable sources such as coal, gas, oil or nuclear power, the advantages are clear: it is non-polluting, an infinite source of energy, and the systems require little maintenance.
In order to have sufficient energy in the future, part of our energy will have to be generated by photovoltaic (PV) solar power. The technology is currently available; the systems are improving and becoming increasingly economically viable.
The general rule is that other than domestic installations you must apply for planning permission for your solar PV installation. If your PV install is to a standard flush to roof fitted system then there should be no issues with your planning department. All local authorities are under government pressure to reduce carbon emissions and support renewable.
If however you have a system that requires tilting above the roof line (to achieve the correct orientation) then you need to seek some direction From your planning authority. We will work alongside you to provide all necessary drawings and schematics and local contractors & servicemen required.

Receives the hot fluid and transfers the heat to the domestic hot water supply.
